Shift: 10 HR Days | 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Pharmacist to join our hospital-based healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services, supervising pharmacy technicians, and ensuring safe, effective, and economical drug therapy for patients. You will join a team that operates with a family-like culture and prioritizes collaboration and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and accurately verify medication orders into the pharmacy system.
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals according to established protocols and best practices.
• Monitor patient drug therapy for contraindications, drug-drug and drug-food interactions, allergies, and dosage appropriateness.
• Provide drug information and consultation to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Licensure:
  • Must hold an active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Experience:
  • Open to New Graduate Pharmacists who have completed a hospital-based internship .
  • Required: Minimum of one year of recent hospital experience or successful completion of a PGY-1 residency in a hospital setting.
  • Required: Acute care hospital experience within the last year .
