We're looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join our team!  This role will specialize in the mechanical components of assembling our telescopic conveyors.  The schedule for this opening is 6am-2:30pm Monday through Friday.  

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to technical drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements.
• Install, fasten, align, and adjust mechanical parts as required, ensuring correct fit and function.
• Conduct functional and performance tests on assembled products, reporting any deviations or issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly issues, collaborating with team members and engineers as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, materials used, and any modifications performed.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines at all times, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for quality, efficiency, and workplace safety in the assembly process.

Candidate Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 3 years of assembly experience in an industrial environment.
• Forklift and crane experience is preferred.
• Technical education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or relevant field; vocational training acceptable.
• Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a similar production environment is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with assembly tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.
• Attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to assembly work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team and communicate clearly.
