The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, and scheduling appointments as needed. They may also set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled.   • Schedule appointments with proper documentation of clientele needs.
  • Greet customers promptly
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Verify all warranty and service plan coverage and report correctly.
  • Establish follow up time and proactively communicate with clientele as they require.
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customer.
  • Proactive follow up with clientele regarding customer service experience and follow up with any clientele needs
  • Maintain proper customer service index score each month.
Qualifications:
  • Previous vehicle manufacturing dealership experience required and CDK experience preferred.
  • Driver's License is required with an acceptable, insurable driving record.
