Responsibilities
  • Greets customers promptly and professionally
  • Obtains current customer and vehicle information, check vehicle for notable damages and document
  • Clearly enter all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer, creating a repair order
  • Determine and recommend needed maintenance base on age, mileage, and vehicle history
  • Prepare complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and part(s) repairs
  • Recommend needed repairs as found by the vehicle inspection report or technician findings
  • Verify warranty coverage and obtain warranty authorization when applicable
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently
  • Verify that final invoice matches the work quoted and performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customer to ensure full understanding of the invoice
  • Complete manufacturer training by established deadlines
  • Increase customer satisfaction by improving customer relations
Qualifications
  • Experience in a service advisory role is preferred, we may consider training the right candidate
  • A Positive ‘Always On’ attitude is a must
  • Customer Service focused is non-negotiable
  • DealerTrack experience a plus
  • Confidence in your ability to sell auto service repair needs is paramount
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Accredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction, and quality control
  • Contribute to the department growth by maximizing sales & executing retail promotions
  • Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service, and community relations
  • Valid commercial driver’s license & clean driving record
  • Proficient use of computers/business machines
  • Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions
